Screen Print and Make...Your Own Notebook!

  • Print Clan 241 High Street Glasgow, G4 0QR United Kingdom (map)

We are delighted to welcome Big Suze Illustration & Design to the Print Clan team to host our first ever paper printing workshop!

This is the perfect way to try something creative and have a go at screen printing for the first time.

What will happen during the workshop?

During this 4 hour workshop Suzie will show you how to create paper stencils and build up a fab multi-layered screen printed design onto good quality paper. Then she will show you how to stitch it up into a notebook!

I have never done screen printing or life drawing before, can I come?

Of course - the workshop is suitable for all skills levels. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is necessary.

What will I make?

Suzie will guide you through the full design process, the basics of screen printing and how to construct a notebook from scratch. You will leave with your very own unique, printed notebook, perfect to keep or give to someone as a gift!

Equipment Provided:

Equipment and materials such as paper, pencils, screens, squeegees, a range of ink colours, newsprint paper, cutting mats and knives are all included for the screen printing activity. Needles and thread will also be provided to stitch your notebook together.

Your Tutor:

Suzie Cichy is an illustrator and printmaker who is currently studying for a Masters degree in Illustration at Glasgow School of Art. She is a co-operative member of Leeds Print Workshop and has experience facilitating a range of workshops for adults and groups with learning disabilities.
