Learn the art of textile screen printing in this six week beginner’s course with Print Clan.
You will be guided step-by-step through the screen printing process, be introduced to the various pieces of equipment in the Print Clan studio and gain confidence in printing independently. Over the six weeks you will be encouraged to experiment with colour, shape and pattern to develop interesting designs across a range of fabrics.
You will leave the course with a selection of samples using the different techniques, including printing with paper stencils and an exposed screen. You will have the opportunity to work towards a final project of your choosing with the guidance of our tutor. You can choose to print onto plain tote bags, tea towels, t-shirts or a range of fabrics.
The price for the course includes one year’s membership to Print Clan, allowing you to book space in the studio to continue printing after the end of the course.

Cancellation Policy
We will refund you in full minus a 5% booking fee if you cancel no less than seven days before the start of the course, after which no refunds will be issued. Once booked we may be able to transfer you to another course, but we cannot guarantee it.
We reserve the right to cancel the course for any reason (for example, insufficient bookings). We will endeavour to give at least 7 days notice if the course is cancelled and in the event of cancellation we will, of course, issue you a full refund.
Concession Rates Policy
A discounted ticket price for our core workshops and course programme is available to individuals who are: existing Print Clan members; students; graduates (valid for one year post-graduation); senior citizens (aged 65+); unemployed/jobseekers; disabled; or referred by one of our selected third sector partner organisations.
Photocopied or digital proof of status must be provided in person or via email to hello@printclan.co.uk after purchase to validate the concession rate. If this cannot be provided, you will be asked to pay the difference to a full-priced ticket before attending.
Existing Print Clan members do not need to provide evidence. This will be validated internally against our current active member list. The concession is only applicable to the member themselves and is non-transferable.
Accessibility
Our aim is to bring screen printing to as many people as possible but unfortunately our studio is not wheelchair accessible. For safety reasons only those over the age of 16 will be permitted to participate in the workshop.
