We’re Hiring - Workshop Assistant

Background

Print Clan CIC is an inclusive textile screen printing studio based in Glasgow. Our mission is to provide equitable access to textile screen printing resources that nurture creativity and contribute to wellbeing. Our vision is to be Scotland’s leading open access textile screen printing studio with accessibility, community, inclusivity and sustainability at our core.

We have established a flourishing city-centre studio which currently has over 150 members who use the facilities for a range of applications. We also run a popular workshop and course programme, a Wellbeing Programme, artist residencies, merchandise printing service and offer live printing at events.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, organised Workshop Assistant to support the delivery of Print Clan CIC’s Print for Wellbeing Club, whilst supporting the day-to-day activities of the Print Clan studio and working closest with the Print Club Lead Tutor and Wellbeing Coordinator.

This is a practical, people-focused role supporting the delivery of our textile screen printing workshops, courses and events. You’ll work closely with participants of all experience levels, helping them develop their skills while contributing to a welcoming, inclusive and collaborative studio environment.

As a small, friendly team of 5, we work closely together in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and initiative are key.

We’d love to hear from someone with proven experience in textile screen printing and a strong interest in community arts practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organised, and is keen to support access to textile screen printing in an inclusive setting, be a positive presence in the studio, contribute to a supportive team culture, and grow with us as we continue expanding our programme and impact within Glasgow’s creative sector.
