Our Intermediate Block series of workshops looks at specialist processes within textile printing, and are aimed towards members of Print Clan or anyone with existing screen printing experience that they wish to build on.

The block booking entitles you to a £30 discount of the block of four workshops.

Mono-Printing
Experiment with different approaches to mono-printing. You will try out different mark-making tools and approaches, creating spontaneous prints which focus on gestural and textural marks. You will also have the opportunity to create experimental prints using screens and paper stencils.

Printing with Dyes
Experiment with Procion and reactive dyes to achieve vibrant prints using the screen printing process; playing with texture, colour and shape.

Printing with Foil & other specialist binders
Learn how to produce unique effects by printing with our specialist binder and foil in this two hour workshop. You will experiment with shapes, patterns and layers, and have the option to try out some other specialist binders such as gloss, pearl and metallic.

CMYK Screen Printing
Have a go at printing your own CMYK separation screen print, by using four layers of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black to reproduce a full colour image. During the workshop you will be shown how to separate an image using Adobe Photoshop, before printing your own image on at least two pieces of fabric.
